Dear Oracle Gurus,

Oracle 10g
Red Hat Enterprise Server 4

I am newbie to Oracle, I am a Progress DBA and now our application is also running on Oracle.
This application has a .dbt file under the $ORACLE_HOME/assistance/templates directory that is used by DBCA while creating a database.

I was wondering if there is any how to create the database using this template file from the command line? Since this template file has all the database parameter setup.

The server is in USA and I am runing an Xwin32 client, but the performance is terrible, so I would rather go with the command lines..

Can anybody give me any tips regarding this?

TIA,
Any comments will be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Bruno
