HI,

How can i check the oracle server date. Is it possible that i can change the oracle server date.

I think SysDate gives the system date.
select sysdate from dual; -- Gives the system date

so how can i get the oracle server date.

Please help me out.

From documentation: "SYSDATE returns the current date and time set for the operating system on which the database resides."
So this is server date.

Oracle takes date/time values from OS. Manipulate OS date /time if you desire.
