Hi to all

oracle- 10.2.0
windos platform


i am going to change the database character set so i need to
know the hirarchy of database character set.


still i am using WE8MSWIN1252 NLS_characterset.

& also

whats the hirerchy of Nation character set.

There is no hierarchy this is the reason character sets are interesting.
The only rule is: US7ASCII is a strict subset of all single-byte and variable-byte character sets.

From what to what?
