hi
i am planning to migrate from 8.1.7 to 9.01.i had a database in 8i i took a full export and want to import into 9i i created the database and tablespaces as in 8i.
My dought is whether i have to create the users is it a must because i already created the same tablespace because when we exporting full database the schema definitions will be exported that will contains the default tablespaces of schema right?.
so my dought is wheter i have to created schemas or not before import what will happen if i didnt do that.While importing the usres will be created as it is in the dmp file in the default tablespaces.pls clarify my doughts
