hi,

i am new to oracle, i installed oracle 8i enterprise
on windows nt2000 server. when i start sql *plus session, i get error message: 'ORA-01034 ORACLE not available and 2nd error is: 'ORA-27101 shared memory realm does not exist.. i will appreciate any help. thanks.... dean
